A Family Prayer - (Based on Ephesians III)

.
We bow our knees
In our humbled reverence
Unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Our Savior and our redeemer,
Our King -
Of whom the whole family
In heaven and earth is named -
Under the Sonship reign,
We ask that He would grant us,
According to the riches of His glory -
His abundant light -
To be strengthened with might
By His Spirit in the inner man
With the baptismal empowered counsel of wisdom and truth,
That Christ may dwell in our hearts by faith.
That we may stand and withstand.
Being deep-rooted and grounded in love -
Firmly established by the divine grace of God from above
“Who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son
So that whosoever believes in Him
Shall not perish, but have everlasting life” -
To comprehend with all saints
What is the breadth and length and depth and height -
As far as the east is from the west,
And the distances beyond the light of day and the darkness of night.
To know full well
The love of Christ,
Which surpasses knowledge,
That we might be fulfilled
With all the fullness of God
Our Lord
Our Father.
So as the Son is one with the Father,
So we be
This family tree
Entwined as vines growing in the rich fertile soil of God’s green pastures.
Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
Above and beyond all that we ask or think
(Our minds being in Christ),
According to the power that in-worketh in us -
The Spirit of the omnipotent, omnipresent Creator Father God

The Almighty One -
Unto to Him we place our hope and trust.
Unto Him be glory -
Our blessed light of love
Whose divine presence
Is our clouds of joy
Filling the temple of our family body
In Christ
Of Christ
For Christ
With Christ
By Christ Jesus
The Head of our households
Throughout all ages and generations
World without end
From everlasting to everlasting.
Amen.

Blessings abundantly, Ruth
