ONCE UPON A DYING STAR

I was
Then
When
Silver and gold floated
From the sky
Some eons gone by
Filtering through the atmosphere
Of the Universal Sphere
Way up yonder
Far
Off in the distance
An exploding star
Spewing its ashes
Into the ground
To be found
Burrowing into the richness
Of the fertile soil
Resplendent seedling descendants
Of mirrored matter
Arising inside mother earth's womb
Until the tender shoots
Spring forth roots
and sprout out
The newly groomed bloom

As when
I came
In stardust rain
From the sky
On high
Where once
I was coupled
Afar
With a bright morning star

"I assure you, unless a kernel of wheat falls into the earth and dies,
it remains only a single seed. But if it dies,
it produces many other seeds." John 12:24
