Home Among the Rocks

I was born here
Where
Among the rocks
The river streams
Into the creek
From far off
Yonder
Where
Among the Rocks
The ocean was wed
In my bed
From where
Among the rocks
The riveting waters
Flushed
Within my womb
Over mammoth rocks and boulders
In the shadow
Under where
Among the rocks
Gleams of silvered shimmers of light
Gurgle in wind currents
Over the bridged fortress
To where
Among the rocks
The forest rests
On the floorboard
Basking in mounds of formations
And configurations
In patterns of contoured shapes and jagged edges
Rising in the distance
Along where
Among the rocks
The shore has birthed in
The tree trunks
Mounted upward bound
to soar into outer space
Where comes
The rain
And me.

For a time
I steep my feet
Into the sweet creek bath waters
Splashing in the cool living waters
And I am baptized again
Like when John Baptized You
Letting the sun/Son
Capture my face
In this most holy place
Among the rocks
This tabernacle of Eden
You called
To
Come forth.
